This kind is usually observed in low maintenance car seat covers as they don't fade or crack easily like original leather. However, since this materials are non-porous it is not advisable to be used for making clothes. Also, if the type catches fire, it can cause severe skin damage.

And unlike original leather, this can be durable and will not fade easily. Glossy finishes is possible easily. This leather could be cleaned having a damp cloth as well as little maintenance. It does not crack and it is UV fade resistant.
