My two boys had been 6 and 11 respectively when we went there and age/size can be a problem, so make sure you examine the rules on each ride prior to joining the queues as they will not let small children ride on the white knuckle slides (eg kamikaze and possibly spiral based on height). Each my lads enjoyed the fast-river and the eldest was brave adequate to try the kamikaze (but only when !). The youngest will have to wait a handful of years. There had been gentler possibilities like the children's pool, and play area (free) and on the day we went there was a bouncy castle, trampolines and paddle boats (extra charges apply for these).

There is also a shop and a restaurant. We had packed lunches, but having inspected the menu, we identified the prices sensible, so will probably eat there subsequent time.

None of the pools are heated, so once again choose your day. If its cloudy or overcast, it will probably be be cold in the water too. We were fortunate as the weather turned in the afternoon and it was extremely hot, so we had been pleased the water was cold.

The life-guards were fewer than I had expected but they did appear to be quite conscious an at least as good as something Ive noticed in the uk. There had been also restricted inflatable rings on some of the rides, probably because folks had taken them into the pool or kept them by their sunbeds !.

Conclusion : The waterpark was a wonderful day out. Yes, the water is cool, probably even as well cold , but so is the water everywhere (unless youve got a heated pool of course). There were not as well a lot of people in the waterpark on the day we went, which meant handful of queues, but Id guess this adjustments in the six weeks school holidays !
